“Pure View” in 2025 has been put on the agenda. Are you ready to draw a new story together?
Time: August 1st – August 10th, 2025
This year,, we will revisit the familiar place from 2018 – Dagaji, Yunnan. Let’s go and see if our children have grown taller, if the pigs of our fellow villagers are selling well, and if the century-old Cloud Academy and the towering tree at the entrance are still shining dazzlingly under the setting sun.
For seven years, we have been keeping an eye on these children. In 2021, we supported the children of Tonghua to hold their own solo exhibitions.
The exhibited works of this event will also embark on a China-Singapore tour exhibition.

2017,Pure View@Dagaji exhibition
The reunion with Dagaji
Dagaji Primary School, located in Dagaji Village, Renhe Town, Maguan County, Wenshan Prefecture, Yunnan Province, is situated in the southwest of Maguan County, close to the border area between China and Vietnam. It is a boarding complete primary school. There are currently over 300 students. 90% of them are of the Miao ethnic group, and the remaining 10% or more are from ethnic minorities such as the Zhuang. Moreover, most of the children are left-behind children.
Seven years ago, we left the unforgettable first step mark of “Tonghua Yujian ®” on this land.
Seven years is enough for a seed to break through the soil and grow into a seedling. The children of the past have grown into teenagers. What are they like now? Have you already walked in the future vision you once drew?
This year we will return to Dagaji:
Echoes of Time: Revisiting the First Batch of Participants in 2018 to Witness How Art Reshapes the Trajectory of Life.
Mutual growth: New and old volunteers create together with children, measuring the changes over the past seven years with their brushes.
Mutual healing: Cities and villages, old friends and new ones, all witness each other’s growth through art.
Art never looks down upon others. It merely whispers softly, “You see, the land remembers all those who live earnestly.”

Head to the local market to relive the long-lost warmth of human warmth and the hustle and bustle of daily life.

The purpose of Pure View®:
• Let art serve as a bridge, enabling children in rural villages and young volunteers from metropolis to discover a different world through children’s pure view and see a better version of themselves.
• Inspire and cultivate children’s observational skills, teach them to uncover the beauty around daily life in the village that might have been overlooked, promote folk and traditional cultures, strengthen their expression and presentation abilities, attract the attention of more knowledgeable individuals to develop the villages, and reduce the number of left-behind children.
• Organize exhibitions for the children, broaden their horizons, inspire their creativity, boost their self-confidence, and make every child feel loved and cared for. The art exhibition not only acknowledges the children’s efforts but also encourage them to strive for improvement.
• Establish more connections between children and others and with nature, reducing feelings of loneliness, stress, and excessive modern entertainment. This way children can reflect on themselves while helping others and contribute to making the world a better place.
We believe that “beauty” is not the privilege of cities, but the instinct for the growth of all things.
There is another truth: What you bring is far less than what you take away.
